The family and friends of Ori Moshe Borenstein, H"yd, together with the Moreshet community and other partners, began planning the 'Ori Scenic Lookout ' memorial project in Moreshet, the community where Ori grew up. Ori was called into the reserves on October 7, 2023, and fought for about three months in Gaza with the 460th Armored Corps Brigade's Operational Support Battalion (294) . Ori entered another combat tour in Gaza as a "Negevist" and was killed while fighting heroically in a battle in Jabalia on the eve of Yorn Kippur 5785 (2024) during the Iron Swords War.
